Olive Crest is Hiring a Front Desk/ Receptionist (Temporary) Near Palm Desert, CA

Olive Crest is a national leader in the Prevention, Treatment and Education of child abuse. We have been serving children and their families throughout Southern California, Washington and Nevada for over 50 years.

Help fulfill the Mission of Olive Crest by connecting with community partners, assisting children and families, and strengthening the organization. This is a temporary position covering a maternity leave with anticipated coverage for May-September 2024.

Job Duties:

  • Supervise front desk and greet community
  • Manage mail and distribution of required documents within the office
  • Assist in the reservation and preparation of conference rooms
  • Provide sign in and out records for clients and volunteers serving the community
  • Support the Community Engagement and Development team with Administrative staff
  • Field calls and scheduling for counseling center

SUMMARY OF WORK PERFORMED: Provide support services to Palm Desert office, Palm Desert Counseling Center, Residential Programming, families, Regional Programs Director, Executive Director, and staff. Responsible for various functions to maintain the office workflow, data entry, reporting and monitoring. Assist Community Engagement Team, IE Office Manager and Palm Desert Staff in projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years previous office experience.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook.
  • Detail oriented, organized, able to multi-task, customer service oriented
  • Must have a philosophy of support for at-risk children and families in line with the mission, vision, values, and statement of faith of Olive Crest.
  • Criminal record clearance
